Why choose Limoco

1

Engineering

Because efficiency has to be there from the start, we personally keep tabs on and are involved in this start as much as possible. What this means is that our production is strictly based on the plans we've drawn up. At the same time, however, we make the option of creating a completely new product available. We research all facets of the potential project and propose solutions based on the customer's expectations and budget. Once a decision has been made, detailed construction plans are drawn up, along with a quotation. We are transparent with the customer at every step of the development process, which includes the project's financial and technical aspects. Limoco customers are always entitled to this privilege.

2

In-house production

The production hall covers 4,800 m² of surface area and is equipped with over 50 stationary machines for all types of sheet metal processing in various grades of steel: galvanised or stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass.
The bending and cutting machines process sheets up to 3 m long and 6 mm thick, and we also have vertical and horizontal presses, rollers, shearing, flange-facer and punch machines. Drawing and tracing is a thing of the past at Limoco Industries: a fully computer-controlled plasma cutting table has taken over the work, at the same time serving as an extra guarantee when it comes to accuracy and quality.
Our extensive know-how provides us with the flexibility to provide a custom solution for any request.
Each time we give the exact same amount of attention to small jobs for last-minute decision makers or super urgent 'interim' projects we prove this flexibility.

A LEADER IN INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION AND DUST EXTRACTION FOR OVER 40 YEARS

Limoco N.V. was founded in 1975 and currently has around 40 enthusiastic, skilled employees. Today, the family business is a reliable partner in the field of industrial ventilation and extraction.
Thanks to over 40 years of experience and the use of the most up-to-date technologies, our systems comply with the applicable standards in terms of dust emission, noise level and safety.

For each project, we work with our customers to find custom solutions that fully meet their needs, expectations and budget. Our team is available to the customer at every step of the project process: from design, to project supervision and production, up to and including assembly.

Even afterwards, the customer can still contact us for service and maintenance of a new or already existing system. From A to Z, we take care of the entire process. That way we always have room for flexibility, so that our customers are inconvenienced as little as possible during the production process.

Quality, flexibility, strict safety regulations and punctual deliveries are all top of mind where we're concerned, and it's precisely because quality and safety come first that we made every effort to obtain our ISO 9001 and VCA* certification.

Our company location in Oudsbergen, at the centre of the Euroregion and close to two major motorways (E313 and E314) is another point in our favour.

In short, Limoco N.V. makes sure that your employees are able to work in a healthy, comfortable working environment.

Limoco is ready for the future

There's been a lot said and written lately about the acquisition of family businesses. On the taxation end of things, the legislation has been completely revised; however, on the personal side as well, there are a number of issues that you as a manager will have to take into consideration sooner or later.

Over the past few months we've undergone some important changes here at Limoco, and the result is that today our company is now completely future proof.

Jan Stinkens: "To tell the truth, I hadn't really thought all that much about what would happen to the company after I was ‘gone’. It was on the recommendation of our tax advisers that I, along with my family, started considering what that future of the company might look like. Our son Tim had played an active role in the company for several years already, having gotten his start there in 2010. He took part in setting up our Domestic Ventilation Department. Last year, our youngest son Pieter also joined Limoco as a warehouse assistant.”

Wouldn't it be logical then for the company to continue being run by the next generation?

Tim Stinkens: "We've been discussing and considering it quite a bit as a family for some time now. However, in the end my partner Sarah and I came to the conclusion that we wanted to continue running the company in the long term. After all, it's not a responsibility that ought to be underestimated. I want to continue down the same road that my father intially set out on to build Limoco into the company it is today.”

"This wasn't just important to Tim. It was also an incredibly important decision where I was concerned," adds Jan. "I remember when I was 40, I still had my doubts about whether I was ready to run a business of this size. After all, Tim is only 28 years old. Still, it goes without saying that he had the advantage, since he would be able to grow into his position as a director. Sarah, Tim's partner, has recently taken up the position of HR Manager. On my part, I'm going to try and slowly move into the background; however, for the time being, I definitely have no intention of stepping down!

Tim: "Our goal in having made this decision is also to send a powerful message to our customers, our suppliers and, above all, our staff. I share my father's policy vision and am going to continue down the same path, which means that slow and steady is the best way to grow.”

Does that mean we won't be seeing any differences? "Well, actually you might, since I'm a good deal stricter," admits Tim.
